Arenal Volcano Overnight Tour Itinerary

Day 01. We start the tour by leaving early in the morning with directions to the Arenal Volcano area. During the journey, we will pass through cities like Liberia and Cañas. Later we will drive between wind fields where you can have an incredible view of the volcano and the lake if it is clear.

Arenal Volcano Overnight Tours’ first stop will be in a place where you can enjoy delicious desserts and breakfasts, coffee, and smoothies. The place also has a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Then we will continue to Fortuna where the adventure begins. To start first we will take a hike in the botanical center. Here you can see lots of birds, toucans, red frogs and sloths. You will visit a butterfly garden and learn a lot about our nature.

From here we headed towards the Fortuna Waterfall. To get to the waterfall you will have to walk through the rain forest for about 15 minutes. You will arrive at an incredible fall of more than 70 feet high where you can take a bath in the crystalline waters of the lagoon. The sound of nature and the scenic beauty of the place is second to none.

After relaxing at the hot springs, we finally head to the resort where you can enjoy the facilities at your leisure.

Day 02. For the second day of your Arenal Volcano Overnight Tour from Guanacaste, the action begins after breakfast. We will take you to an adventure package where you will enjoy Hanging Bridges, Aerial Tram, and Ziplines. Prepare to walk the suspension bridges. Here you will discover the forest canopy and some of our flora and the importance of these forests and ecosystems.

We will continue with the Aerial Tram that will take you to the highest part of the mountain. From here you will have a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and the lake, in addition to its surroundings. Arriving at the last stop is time to start the adventure with more adrenaline of all.

The Zipline Tour is the last activity of the Arenal Volcano Overnight Tour from Guanacaste. These zip lines will take you through the rain forest from where you can have an incredible perspective of the forest, the Arenal volcano, and its landscapes. This is one of the best parks in Costa Rica for this type of activity. Once this adventure is over, we will prepare to go back towards Guanacaste.
