Colorado River Rafting and Zip Lines

Colorado River Rafting and Zip Lines Tour takes you near the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano in Guanacaste. This is the perfect tour for families with small kids as they are allowed to enjoy all the activities. Colorado River Rafting is a fun Guanacaste Tour that can be joined in a half-day expedition.

Colorado River Rafting is 3 kilometers (1.864 miles) long, and it takes approximately 1:30 hrs. You will enjoy an amazing experience along the canyon of the Colorado River. You will be driven for about 10 minutes from the operation center in a van to the river bank where the tour starts. We use the safest equipment, helmets, and life vests. We offer are II and III class rafting depending on the weather conditions in the mountains in the Rincón de la Vieja volcano.

Colorado Zip Lines Tour is an adventure activity that simultaneously generates emotions in two ways. You will enjoy the Tropical Dry Forest and the Canyon of the Colorado River from two different points of view:

When walking by the footpaths, you can observe the existing biodiversity from the ground to the lower canopy. Also when traversing by the top of the trees and stopping in the platforms all life forms can be observed and only can be seen by being in the superior canopy.

Canopy Tour is mixed with footpaths, observation platforms, and hanging bridges to obtain a unique experience. Constructed with the best materials there are 9 lines and 14 platforms crossing 8 times the Colorado River with a total length of 1106 meters.

Rio Perdido Adventure Park And Hot Springs

There are 15 platforms: 6 of them are rock-based, 9 are suspended on the canyon walls, pendulum cable, 50 ft. “Tarzan swing”, 90 ft. challenge bridge, via Ferrata* with lengths varying from 15 to over 30 ft., 5 zip lines with lengths varying from 260 to over 800 ft.

Rio Perdido zip lines tour will take you through the river canyon as well you will have some small hikes through the tropical forest. The landscapes of the river canyon and the surroundings are amazing. After the zip line adventure and a delicious lunch served at the restaurant, you will prepare for your Tubing experience on the river with amazing landscapes of the rock formations and lots of fun on the river rapids and small falls.

It takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, where you will zipline, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings. Hacienda Guachipelin ziplines start with a short walk from the adventure center to the first canopy platform, where the excitement begins.

At Hacienda Guachipelin Combo Tour you can count on 12 zip line cables, 24 platforms, 2 climbing walls, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel, Tarzan swings, and exhilarating adrenaline!. Plus, you’ll enjoy seeing a wide variety of vegetation and wildlife.

Guachipelin Adventure Day Pass takes you later to the Rio Negro Tubing Adventure. You will head out from Hacienda Guachipelin by horseback ride (or you can also go by vehicle transport). After a 45-minute ride through the forest, you arrive at the departing point where we’ll get ready for our river tubing adventure.

After a short briefing about safety on the river, there is a walk to the foot of the Victoria Waterfall, where our tubing adventure begins. Enjoy life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting tube. Your guides will be riding down with you to ensure your safety.
